Bass Fishing for the Beginner
Welcome
Welcome to the Beginner Bass Fisherman website. This site has been designed for someone who is either just starting to become serious about bass fishing or has bass fished for less than 5 to 10 years.
It is not particularly suited for the more experienced bass master or someone into serious competitive fishing.
I think we can all learn from each other and as all devoted bass fisherman know, we never stop learning.
I have personally been fishing for over 60 years and bass fishing for over 45. I have watched the evolution of equipment, techniques and tackle over the years. As I look back on it, what we once considered state of the art, is either common knowledge or no longer the best option.
It is my hope that the pages of this website will become a treasure trove of learning for you. A place that you will visit often, learn and contribute to those with less experience.

How To Use This Website
As you click around you will see we have a multitude of pages on this site designed to take you through all phases of bass fishing, techniques, lures, equipment and tips.
On the right side of each page is photo of the type of lure or equipment that corresponds to the subject involved. For your convenience, these photos are linked to a website where you can purchase that exact lure or equipment. This makes it easy for you to get the exact lure or item shown in the text and videos.
